Turmeric and Dill Fish
Chả Cá is such a famous dish in Ha Noi that they even have a street in the city
bearing it ‘s name—Pho Cha Ca (Cha Ca Street). This is a great dish to have during winter. We serve it on a hotplate or in the pan over the charcoals while still sizzling. Dill is almost exclusively used in the north of Vietnam, where I learned this dish from my grandmother in the late 1980s. However this particlar dish has become popular countrywide.
